	This new album, Beveled Facets, is a stunning display of musicianship, feel, and kinetic energy. Ruben Gutierrez carefully selected a few classics, melded them together with some original material, and emerged with a triumphant new recording. Featuring a diverse group of artists, Ricky Malichi is features on cuts 4, 9, and 11. Ricky is currently performing with Ruben and The Latin Jazz Exchange.

	Ya Llego”, Yoboso’s first CD, was released in 1994. It features original compositions by Ricky as well as Bert Dalton and Danny Olaizloa, as well as unique arrangements of standard Latin and jazz compositions. Songs from the CD reached “Latin Jazz” magazine’s top ten on three separate occasions. In 1995, “Ya Llego!” won three New Mexico “Mic” awards for “Best arrangement”, Best Jazz Performance” and the top award. “Best of the Year”.

	“Off the Menu”, the much anticipated second CD recording from Yoboso, was released amid resounding critical acclaim. The recording displays growth and maturity in this uniquely original style of the award winning Latin jazz quartet. This recording received four New Mexico “Mic” Awards including Recording of The Year and “It’s A shame” Hit the Top 10 in Latin Beat Magazine.

	X.O. is a brand new group formed by the Drummer and Percussionist of the Latin Jazz band Yoboso and by Stefan Schyga, Classical and Flamingo Guitarist of Telarc Recording. Music lovers will appreciate this new and fresh approach to World Music. The exciting sounds of Guitar and Percussion creates pure spontaneity. Without a doubt, all the right elements have come together here on this first collaboration.
